Winter Survival: Fire & Shelter

Wow, it's really cold out there!  But don't let that stop you!!!  Learn the skills that will keep you warm and thriving in the winter wilderness.

Fire-making is one of the most essential and distinctly human outdoor skills we have the privilege of mastering.  Conversely, there is hardly anything more universal amongst the creatures of the forest than knowing how to create or find a shelter that will keep you warm and dry even in the darkest depths of winter.

Join us as we learn to thrive in the wild, regardless of temperature.  Develop your skills and become Winter Wise.

We need your help!  A particularly famous reindeer needs rescuing, and the Forest Ninjas are on the case.  Use stealth, tracking and keen awareness to rescue Wudrolph and save the holidays!

In this exciting adventure children will practice the art of invisibility.  Through camouflage and silently moving as a group we will evade capture as we infiltrate a secure area in search of our shiny-nosed friend.  By quieting our minds and attuning to the rhythms of the forest we'll become as natural as our surroundings and accomplish our mission.  Lets save (insert favorite winter holiday here)!

Here, have a hot cup of cocoa and warm yourself 'round the hearth fire.  Come soak in the simple joys of the season as we bring our voices together in laughter and song.

This is how we'll spend our morning:  in the forest, a tasty warm beverage in our hands, standing around a fire, practicing our favorite songs of the season.
Then in the afternoon we'll travel together to a local assisted living facility to bring some cheer and music to the residents there.  This is sure to be a sweet, wholesome, and richly rewarding day for all.

Winter has come.  The Wilder-lings are amassing on the edge of your settlement.  Soon they'll storm the gates.  Use your archery skills to defend your teams home-base from the oncoming raiders.

In this projectile packed program children will develop their traditional archery abilities using bows, arrows, and stuffed targets. Then, with our safe Foam Arrows and specialized Bows, they become the target and play an epic Capture-the-Flag style game in the forest with their friends.  Fun to the max!
